Tough Times ahead for Arsenal Women

Arsenal suffered a loss against Real Madrid last night. It was a home match for Real Madrid and they won by 2-0. So, the second leg, of the quarter final of UEFA Champions League will take place in London at the Emirates Stadium. That will be a home game for Arsenal.

This season is not going smoothly for the team as they are out of almost every cup and UEFA Champions League is their only hope of winning some glory. Even if they cannot become champions but if they reach the semi-final then it will be a great consolation for them. In Women's Super League they do not have any hope of winning the championship and actually they are fighting for the second position now and do not look very well established to become the runners-up.

Then they are eliminated from other competitions. So, it is the Champions League that they have any hope of having any kind of glory. Arsenal have a new coach this season and we hope that she will become more mature in the next season and will inspire the players more.

She is not a bad coach and since she has taken charge, Arsenal women are doing better. So let us hope for the best and support our club in every step, in every match.

Arsenal: Number 2 is again the Spot?

Arsenal won against Chelsea today just a few hours ago. It was a home match for the gunners and they won 1-0. Not a good score line but they have got all 3 points and that matters most. Now, they have 58 points from 29 matches and are behind from the leader Liverpool by 12 points.

So, no good news for Arsenal’s men or women’s team this season. The fans are not happy. What Arsenal need next season is to invest heavily on having a world class striker.
