Arsenal has recently revealed their interest in Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole. The English international is now expecting to a place in England’s final World Cup squad. However, he is also aware of the fact that his contract at Chelsea expires this June. So, he is naturally worried about his future.
Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are also tracking the midfielder who missed a big part of the last season due to injury. Arsenal is aware of the fact that Cesc Fabregas’ potential departure for Barcelona would create a big void in their midfield, and at the moment, there is no one at Arsenal who could replace the Spanish playmaker.
Arsenal is now in search of a midfielder who could play the creative role in the midfield next season, should Fabregas leave for Barcelona.
