Sol Campbell on His Arsenal Future

Sol Campbell has said that he wants to play at least two more years for Arsenal as he believes he can influence the game and win matches for Arsenal. The veteran defender was signed for a short period in January and his current contract has been expired with the end of the premier league season.

The 35-year-old defender admitted that negotiation for a contract extension has begun and things will be sorted out by July. Campbell has said that he wants to stay at the club and wants a contract for 2 more years, but at the same time admitted that the manager may hand him a one-year contract, instead of two.

This is the second stint for the defender. He played for the North London club from 2001 to 2006 before leaving for Portsmouth. In his first stint at the club, Campbell won 2 premier league and 3 FA Cup titles. Now, let us see if the player can bring back the past glory at Arsenal.
